Kile has a busy week

12 July

Kile was off early this morning on a trip to Thorpe Park Resort in Surrey; no wonder it’s an early start. I had to look it up to find out where it is. It looks good from what I saw, but by heck, it’s pricey. We couldn’t afford to do these days. Lucky beggar as he is … He was really tired when he got here. We had his dinner waiting for him and he wasn’t long before he was in bed. He will be late getting in late this evening too, around 7.30, Jan will be waiting for him when he gets in. I’ll have dinner on again for when he gets in. He’ll be up early again tomorrow, off to the Snowdome, in Tamworth I think. Thursday and Friday he has two more trips he’s signed up to. Come Saturday he’ll really be knackered.

Have you done anything about to do with the new pensions system where you can drawdown

on the capital? There were warnings given from various places about the possibility of fraud and scams. However, this one is another troy idea, so the muppets ignored all the warnings apart from saying something about measures being in place to prevent it happening. Really?   From what I saw on last night’s Panorama, then they’ve found a way to get around the so-called ‘measures’, or are just ignoring them. Ad what are the muppets doing? When you find out, let know please.

The rise in racist attacks since the BREXIT vote that are being seen now is appalling. Why these people think that BREXIT is an excuse for racism I just don’t know or understand. Part of it may well be down to groups like BNP, EDL and the England First group of racists. As I said, they are only a part of it; the largest part is that there are a lot of racists out there anyway. I wouldn’t be surprised that drink and drugs are in mixed somewhere along the way.

Not so long ago I was saying that the laws here in the UK do not help, in fact, they are a hindrance. You can’t legislate racism out of the country; all the law does is to cause the hatred to go underground, waiting for an excuse. Along comes BREXIT, they’ve got their excuse and off they go. However, I wonder just how many ‘reasonable’ people who still show some signs of racism. Well, I’m one of them, I’m ashamed to say! What annoys me is the use of the full hajib. So come on, what about you? Be honest with yourself, and face up to it. Then perhaps we can move along towards sorting it out.

But part of the problem is the way that some sections of our society do not make any effort to help the situation. Top of the list of course are the number of child prostitution rings across the country. Add in the numbers of people who have left the UK to join in with ISIS, the various terror attacks. OK, fine, they might be a minority, but why are the majority not doing anything about it? I used to ask the same question about the Ulster Troubles. Whatever, we all need to reassess our attitudes on this issue.
