Stop waffling ...

12 December

Saturday morning and it’s raining quite hard. Thankfully for us we had decided that we wouldn’t be going out today anyway. It’s bloomin’ cold in here too, but a cardi has sorted that out for me. So what’s what then … … …

Yesterday we had another mix-up over Kile. Jan has bought him a new game for one of his games thingys he at home. So he was told that if it was raining Jan would meet him in the carpark and take him up home, and picking up Vicky, his step sister on the way. Except that Jan didn’t go out for him cos it wasn’t raining. He knows to walk around here to us when there’s no rain, so that is what we expected.

Hmmm … instead of coming here he went back in to school and they called home. His nan then phoned us, Jan got ready and went to pick him up, but he wasn’t there, so she went off to pick up Vicky, and found Kile already at home, just as his nan had told him. It would have been better if she had then phoned us again to let us know what he was doing. Between them now it has been arranged that Jan will go to his place and collect a load of clothes for him and on Thursday he will come here straight from school for as long as we want him. I suggested we take him back on the Friday morning – it wasn’t accepted for some strange reason.

Last night we watched the last of the original Star Wars movie, ready for when Kile gets here so we can watch the three later efforts. Of course, there’s the new one soon to be released, what’s the betting it’s one of another series! I’ve always like the Star Trek movies too, so I bought the set while I was out on Wednesday. That will be another one set Kile to watch while he’s here.

Der yer no sumat? I’m waffling here, time to cut it short … Some flowers from a few years past ...

actually, a close up of a passion flower in 2003. That same plant was still flowering on Christmas day that year.

A funny …

An organization is like a tree full of monkeys, all on different limbs at different levels. The monkeys on top look down and see a tree full of smiling faces. The monkeys on the bottom look up and see nothing but assholes.
